THIS TUESDAY (November 11): ELECTIONS FOR MAYORS IN ISRAEL (NO reminders will be issued! AZ)
* Parush Now! by Boaz HaEtzni (H) http://www.news1.co.il/Archive/003-D-32996-00.html?tag=11-48-20
** IN JERUSALEM, Meir Porush will best represent Erets Israel, as he did in the past, and...
(Nir Barkat was the head of the Kadima branch. His positions and Gaidamaks re a Palestinian State are not known. Yigal Amedi was in favor of disengagement)
...and The Ichud Leumi-Mafdal list (letters Ted Bet) is highly recommended. -Arieh King, on the list, is the quiet force behind all the hityashvut in Jerusalem!
* Suzy Dym from Mattot Arim has prepared a list of all the candidates who were in favor of the expulsion
The time is ripe to punish them and ensure they do not come to power, for the sake of Israels survival
The only issue that must interest us in these elections is the issue of the candidate's position about Erets Israel - is the candidate in favor of a PLo State or not? -Was he in favor of the gerush or not?
Please pass on this list to all friends and family members around the country
* Acco: Lankri was in favor of the disengagement. Require him to first declare in writing that he opposes the creation of a PLO State. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Ashdod: Dr. Yehiel Lasri & Yehuda Frankel are better than Zvi Zilker, who supported the gerush
* Ashkelon: Roni Mahatzri was in favor of the expulsion. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Bat Yam: Vote for Uri Buskila, probably running only for city council - Tet-Bet
* Beer Sheva: Yaakov Terner of Kadima is a poor candidate. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Beit Shemesh: Shalom Lerner is an excellent mayoral candidate. Make sure Daniel Vaknin, who was in favor of the expulsion, does not get in.
* Givat Shmuel: Zamir Ben-Ari was in favor of the gerush. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Haifa: Yona Yahav & Rami Levy are very bad. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against them
* Herzlia: The current mayor is from meretz and was in favor of he gerush. Yaron Olami running for mayor and Zvi Weiss running for Moatza in the Tet-Bet list are both excellent. Please help them and vote for them
* Kiryat Malachi: Vote AGAINST Moti Malka, who is a Kadima man and voted for the gerush. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Maaleh Adumim: Gidon Ariel running for city council is excellent for us. Known activist for erets Israel
* Naharia: Jackie Sabag is from Kadima. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him.
* Natzrat Ililt: Shimon Gapsu is great. Please help him and vote for him
* Netanya: Miriam Feirberg has a mixed record -- against Oslo, in favor of disenagement -- call her to clarify her position re Palestinian state (which will put Netanya into rocket range)
* Ramat Gan: Zvi Bar is very anti Eretz-Yisrael. Was in favor of gerush. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Ramle: Yoel Lavi is from Kadima and is very anti Eretz-Yisrael. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Rishon leZion: Vote AGAINST Meir Nitzan who is a Kadima candidate. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
* Rehovot: Vote for Hananya Weinberger or Uzi Salant in order to defeat Shuki Forer who is very bad for Eretz Yisrael
* Tel-Mond: Shlomo Ratzabi, current mayor, favored the disengagement. Please vote for the most realistic candidate running against him
** Please ask your friends to do the same - many of whom were not going to bother to vote
The above suggestions are based on our 15 year experience re candidates and parties which have consistently adopted positions that are good for the public even when these positions are unpopular
(like: refusing to jump on the disengagement bandwagon despite huge pressure from the government)
These recommendations are based ONLY on our observations as to which candidates and lists are pro-Eretz Yisrael in orientation. In Israel, like it or not -- municipal politics crucially affects national politics
Safety first - if mayors are elected who are pro-Palestinian, our chances for defeating Palestinian state are very slim. So, please vote as above and get your friends to vote.
General: Vote for any local candidate (from any party) who goes public saying he is opposed to Palestinian state as it will endanger his own city
