Introduced in anticipation of the upcoming �peace� conference in November, the resolution "calls on President Bush to ... make a 2-state settlement a top priority".
This is Dangerous for Israel! Because:
a. The new Arab state is supposed to be established in Judea and Samaria, which are just a bike-ride away from all of Israel's major cities and from Israel's sole international airport. This is an existential danger to the only Jewish state in the world, Israel. Better one less Arab state than no more Jewish state.
b. 70% of Palestinians support suicide bombings; do they deserve a reward of an own state?
c. Due to previous Israeli withdrawals, Israel now has active Northern and Southern fronts. Can tiny Israel cope with a third front in Central Israel, where 70% of Israel's population resides?

JDL in NY was very successful in helping release Jews from the Soviet Union before the fall of the Iron Curtain in the 1960's by holding demonstrations around and in the Russian Embassy. They were helped and supported by "The Student Struggle For Soviet Jewry"
* Now is the time to demonstrate opposite the Israel Embassy and Councils against the implementation of an agreement that will directly endanger the lives of the Jewish residents of Israel
If notices will also immediately go out to all Jewish student organizations such as Hillel Houses and Yavneh on the University campuses to join in SOLIDARITY support of the JDL demonstrations in their own ways that they are accustomed to do in such cases, then the effect of their participation will be enhanced and even legitimized the more so - in the sprit of Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandi.
