Before going to jail, they appealed to the Supreme Court saying that someone who asked the President for pardon should give the President the time to decide, a process that usually takes 6 months.
Putting them in jail before the decision is an embarrassment for the President
Activists have started handing out quoting

The struggle for their release will continue. We will update you.
Family and friends who managed to arrive on such a short notice came to strengthen the brothers but they strengthened us. They held their head high and were very strong, knowing that the majority of the Jewish people support them and considers them real heroes, prisoners of Zion in Zion.
